Commissioner Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Vikramjit Singh, today participated in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) program besides chairing a public darbar held at Town Hall, Ramnagar.

DDC Chairman Udhampur, Lal Chand, SSP Joginder Singh, ADDC, Ghan Sham Singh, BDC Chairman Ramnagar, Des Raj, DDC member Ramnagar-1, Mool Raj, SDM Ramnagar, Shishir Gupta, Sarpanchs, Panchs and locals attended the event.

During the program, PRIs and the general public raised various issues and demands including pending payment of Capex budget, DPR of landslide area in Kaghote on Udhampur-Ramnagar road, road repair from Roun Domail to Ramnagar and upgradation of educational institutions. 

Other demands included construction projects, vocational/ITI college for Ramnagar, and creation of posts for coaches and teachers.Commissioner Secretary assured the public that their concerns would be promptly brought to the attention of relevant authorities for resolution.

He emphasized the government's commitment towards implementing centrally sponsored schemes and flagship programs for benefit of society. He asked the officers to coordinate efforts at the grassroots level, engage with the public, and organize awareness camps to maximize the benefits of various government schemes.

Vikramjit Singh, along with DDC Chairman, inspected awareness stalls set up by various government departments. They interacted with officers, reviewed the progress on schemes related to agriculture, horticulture, health, animal husbandry, handicrafts, handloom, etc., showcasing a comprehensive approach to addressing community needs.
