In adherence to the public outreach program initiated by the Government of J&K, the Pulwama Police organized 'Thana Diwas' at Police Stations, including Pulwama, Rajpora, Kakapora, and Litter.

At Police Station Rajpora, SSP Pulwama Shri Mohd Yousif-JKPS chaired the Public Darbar cum Thana Diwas at Drabgum village, accompanied by SP Hqrs, SHO Rajpora. The event was attended by public representatives, Traders Federations, market associations, and respected individuals from the Rajpora area. 

The public warmly welcomed SSP Pulwama. The chairing officer reiterated that the primary objective of organizing 'Thana Divas' is to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in grassroots-level policing, fostering confidence among the people. 

Participants were encouraged to cooperate with the police in maintaining law and order, creating a crime-free atmosphere in their respective areas. Simultaneously, at PS Pulwama, PS Kakapora & PS Litter the meetings were chaired by the respective concerned Supervisory Officers  and attended by various associations and respected individuals from the concerned areas.

During these events, participants raised issues of public importance, and the chairing officers assured them that genuine grievances related to the police would be given priority, while those concerning civil administration would be addressed promptly by the relevant departments. Grievances were carefully heard and categorized based on the area of action and jurisdiction.

The participants appreciated the police's role in conducting such interactive meetings, expressing full support and cooperation in combating societal evils. The importance of mutual cooperation was emphasized, ensuring that law-abiding citizens would receive support through legal means, while those not abiding by the law would face legal consequences.
