Ravinder Singh Brahmpura, former MLA of (SAD) Shiromani Akali Dal and in-charge of legislative constituency Khadoor Sahib, has criticized the recently launched ‘Bhagwant Mann Sarkar, Tuhade Dwaar’ scheme by CM Bhagwant Mann and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Brahmpura accuses the scheme of being a new form of deception.

During a visit to village Deon in his constituency, the helpline number 1076 provided under the scheme misled the people of Punjab. He emphasized that the services being offered were already available under the previous SAD government, without the need for bribes. However, he claimed that now citizens are required to pay bribes for the same services," Brahmpura alleged.

Mocking the scheme, Brahmpura remarked, ‘Bhagwant Mann Sarkar, Tuhade Dwaar’ - "Bhagwant Maan's Government, will now visit your home and may lead to various difficulties." Brahmpura further alleged that a constituent from his constituency had tried calling the helpline but was met with disappointment as the number did not exist.

He questioned whether this was the kind of Delhi model that the AAP wanted to bring to Punjab. He also expressed his belief that the AAP has failed in various aspects and is disliked by the punjab people. He confidently predicted the party's annihilation in the 2024 parliamentary elections, favoring the Shiromani Akali Dal under the leadership of Sukhbir Singh Badal and Bikram Singh Majithia.

Brahmpura criticized the AAP for squandering the resources of Punjabis and accused them of deceiving the people, similar to the 2022 assembly elections. However, he believes that Punjabis will no longer be fooled by their tactics
