Janak Singh Rasanheri, who contested the Block Samiti election from the Sawara Zone as a Congress Party candidate, today announced his decision to leave the Congress and join the Shiromani Akali Dal along with his supporters under the leadership of constituency in-charge Sardar Ravinder Singh Khera.
On the occasion, party leaders warmly welcomed Janak Singh Rasanheri and stated that his joining would further strengthen the Shiromani Akali Dal and enhance the party’s presence in the region.Janak Singh Rasanheri said that he was inspired by the policies of the Shiromani Akali Dal and its commitment to safeguarding Punjab’s rights. He assured that he would work with full dedication to strengthen the party and serve the people.
Party leaders said that people across Punjab are becoming disillusioned with traditional political parties and are joining the Shiromani Akali Dal in large numbers. They expressed confidence that many more prominent leaders would join the party in the coming days.
Among those present on the occasion were Sukhdev Singh Nagal Faizgarh, Parvinder Singh Maggar, Harchand Singh Tolemajra, Ranjit Singh Nagal, Amrao Singh, Davinder Singh Tolemajra, Gurjant Singh Maggar, Harpal Singh Lambardar, Sarpanch Gurmel Singh Maggar, Amandeep Singh, Tarlochan Singh and Balwinder Singh, along with other party workers and supporters.
