The Rayat Bahra Dental College and Hospital in collaboration with National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences organized a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Awareness Programme under the leadership of Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, and Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh.
The Chief Guest for the programme was Dr Mukesh Gupta, who is presently President of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, Director of Shree Diagnostics and is National Coordinator IRIA Basic Life support.
An interactive session with the students and faculty of dental, Nursing College and RBU was held explaining the basic life support procedures with the help of audio-visual aids as well as hands on demonstration of CPR.More than 150 participants attended the session.
The session was followed by presenting a token of appreciation to the Chief Guest and distribution of certificates of appreciation and participation to the members of the organising team and participants. Akshey Sharma, Principal of the Rayat Bahra Dental College and Hospital, and other senior faculty members were present.
