Today, Cabinet Minister Baljeet Kaur formally inaugurated the service center initiated by Dr. Sher Singh Memorial Trust and Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board Chairman, and Co-incharge of AAP Chandigarh, Dr. S.S. Ahluwalia, at Sector 76, Mohali.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Punjab Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpaa, MLA Kuljeet Singh Randhawa from Dera Bassi, Dalbir Singh Dhillon, Chairman of PSIEC, Shaminder Singh Khinda, AAP State Secretary, and Raman Bahal, Chairman of Punjab Health Systems Corporation.
On this occasion, a tribute ceremony was organized in memory of Dr. Sher Singh Ji's second death anniversary. Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, chairpersons, and guests paid their respects. Dr. S.S. Ahluwalia mentioned that on the occasion of Dr. Sher Singh Ji's second death anniversary, this service center, in collaboration with Sher Singh Memorial Trust, has been initiated to help the general public avail various services.
He explained that the service center will offer services such as Aadhar card, ration card, voter ID, marriage certificate, income tax certificate, OBC, SC, and ST certificates, widow pension, disability pension, and elderly pension, among others. Cabinet Minister Baljeet Kaur praised the efforts of Dr. Sher Singh Memorial Trust and Dr. S.S. Ahluwalia for opening this service center, expressing confidence that it would benefit the public significantly.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpaa distributed plants to guests. He emphasized the importance of planting more trees for a cleaner environment and securing the future of coming generations. Dr. Sher Singh's sons, Navjot Singh and Ude, expressed gratitude to all the guests.
