Ravinder Singh Brahmpura, a dedicated leader committed to serving the people, and former MLA from Khadoor Sahib of Shiromani Akali Dal, has urged the central government to provide fair compensation to farmers affected by the Bharatmala project for the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra expressway (NE-5), which intersects through Khadoor Sahib in Punjab.

Brahmpura highlights the villages of Dhunda, Khakh, Jhander, Dinewal, Jahangeer, and Khawaspur and other villages within his constituency as being directly impacted by the said project. He asserts that the landowners in these villages must receive compensation equivalent to six times the market price to account for their land acquisition for the Bharatmala project.

Expressing deep concern for the welfare and rights of the affected farmers, Brahmpura emphasizes the significance of equitable compensation to ensure a secure and prosperous future for them. "We must prioritize the well-being of our farmers and ensure they are adequately compensated amidst infrastructure development.

Offering fair and just compensation is not only essential but also a moral responsibility," stated Brahmpura. Advocating on behalf of his constituents, the former MLA appeals to the central government to address this matter promptly, ensuring proper compensation for the farmers in the villages affected by the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra expressway project.
