Deputy High Commissioner Caroline Rowett, who is the representative of the British Government in Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, called on Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan, today. In her courtesy call, she discussed various sectors of mutual understanding and cooperation.
The Governor said that besides tourism, culture, and environment, both Himachal and the UK could work in coordination in the field of education and exchange thoughts and knowledge at the university level. He also apprised her about natural farming practiced in the State. The Governor also honored her by presenting a Himachali cap and shawl.
