People apprises officers about their issues, grievances for early redressal

The District Administration Kulgam Wednesday organized Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands. During the programme, functions were held at D.H.Pora, Kulgam and Devsar blocks of the district.

Officers and officials from line departments listened to issues, grievances and demand of the public for their timely redressal at all the three venues. The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Viqar Ahmad Giri presided over a grievance redressal camp at Kulgam and listened to grievances and issues of people.

JDP, Zahid Sajjad, ACR Mir Imtiyaz-Ul- Aziz, ACD Mohammad Imran, ACP Sharjeel Ali and other officers were present during the camp.People from Srandoo, Mirhama, Ashthal, Watoo, Lamad, Qaimoo and other areas apprised the officers about their demands including construction of Mahipora-Mirhama road, Supply of power as per schedule, construction of bridge near Ziyarat Shareef Qaimoo, construction of remaining portion of Maldar road at Lamad.

People from various areas also raised demand for augmentation of the LT power network in their areas. Officers on the spot responded to the queries and demands of people pertaining to their departments.ADC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on the spot and assured that the rest of the genuine issues and grievances will be addressed in a time bound manner.
