Guru Nanak Dev University ‘D’ Zone Zonal Youth Festival concluded

Zonal Youth Festival of Zone ‘D’ of the Guru Nanak Dev University concluded in Dasmesh Auditorium of the University. In 'A' Division Sikh National College, Banga bagged the adjudged Overall Champion. 

In ‘B’ division, Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala secured the Overall Champion, Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara got second and Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Sultanpur Lodhi secured third position in this festival.Dr. Amandeep Singh, Incharge Youth Welfare gave the trophies to the winning teams and congratulated all participating teams.

Today, costume Parade, Mime, Mimicry, Skit and One Act Play were organized in Dasmesh Auditorium and Group Shabad/Bhajan, Group Song Indian, Geet/Gazal, Folk Song competitions were held in the Guru Nanak Bhawan Auditorium.

On the stage of Architecture Department, Rangoli, Phulkari, Mehndi and in the Conference Hall, quiz competition were organized. A team of student volunteers, and teacher-mentors from the University campus are driving these festivals forward and have the patronage of Vice Chancellor, Dr Jaspal S. Sandhu. Competition for theatre events, fine arts and literary events were held on the concluding day.
