Inter District Provincial Level Kabaddi Tournament successfully concludes at Gulabgarh Paddar Kishtwar

The Department of Youth Services and Sports Kishtwar, under the guidance of Director Youth Services & Sports J&K,  Subash Chander Chhibber, and the supervision of Mr. Kharati Lal Sharma (DYSSO) Kishtwar, successfully organized the Inter District Provincial Level Tournament.The primary objective of this tournament was to nurture sports talent and instill a sense of team spirit among the youth. The event, which took place at Gulabgarh Paddar, saw the enthusiastic participation of 122 boys from 10 districts.

The tournament concluded peacefully, with teams formed by experts for the next level of competitions. In his speech, DYSSO Kishtwar congratulated all the winners in Kabaddi and urged them to continuously improve their game through dedicated practice.

Throughout the tournament, the Kabaddi U/19 boys' matches were officiated by Physical Education Masters (PEMs), Physical Education Teachers (PETs), and Resource Persons for Education in Kabaddi (REKs). Their cooperative efforts and the dedicated duty performed by National Youth Corps (NYCs) were commendable and greatly appreciated.The final match took place between Kishtwar and Samba, where Kishtwar won the toss, opted for raid, but Samba emerged victorious by 5 points.
