Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann addressed large election rallies on Wednesday in Madhya Pradesh urging people there to vote for change, vote for the Aam Aadmi Party. Addressing the public gathering, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann attacked the BJP and said that the BJP government did nothing, 'achche din' never arrived in Madhya Pradesh or in any other corner of the country.
He said that unlike the 'achche din' of BJP, the 'Sachche din' of Kejriwal will surely come when the AAP government is formed in MP. During the speech, Mann took a gibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that Modi only made statements aka 'jumlas' and lied to the people of the country.
I even doubt that he might not even know how to make tea. He said that we do not tell 'jumla' like the BJP. We deliver what we guarantee. We have worked in Delhi and Punjab. In Punjab, in just one and a half years, our government gave government jobs to more than 37,000 youth and regularised about 28,000 temporary employees.
In Punjab, our government has made 300 units of electricity free every month for common families. Now more than 90 percent of the houses in Punjab get zero electricity bills. If the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed in Madhya Pradesh, electricity will be free here also.
We opened 700 Mohalla Clinics in just one and a half years for better treatment of the people of Punjab. About 60 lakh people have received free treatment so far. All types of free tests and free medicines are available in these clinics.
He said that we have completely eliminated corruption in Punjab. In the last one and a half year, we took action against about 400 corrupt people and arrested them and sent them to jail. He said that the governments of traditional parties loot the people and state for four and a half years then give discount in the last three months to woo voters again.
He added that in AAP, we give opportunities and platform to common and young people to represent you in legislative assembly so that they can solve your issues there. Taking another dig at BJP Mann said that MP doesn't need the useless double engine government of BJP but a new engine government of Kejriwal which will work efficiently towards development.
