The Municipal Council (MC) Kulgam celebrated Gandhi Jayanti today with a grand felicitation event, paying appreciation to those who have made noteworthy contributions during the fortnight ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign. During the ceremony, a diverse group was honored for their dedication towards cleanliness and community service.Among the award recipients were diligent volunteers, swachhata ambassadors, dedicated sanitation staff, official staff, and councilors were felicitated.
On the occasion, Executive Officer MC Kulgam, Mohd Irfan Wani highlighted the achievements of municipality during the year and stressed on the collective efforts by all employees in creating the behavioural change among the people.During the function, gratitude was extended to all stakeholders for their contribution for successful conduct of Indian Swachhata League, Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta, Ek saath, besides other events.The event was attended by Elected Ward Councilors, swachhata ambassadors, employees from MC Kulgam.
