Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur and Padamshri Dr. Surjit Patar launch Madhvi Kataria's poetry collection 'Andekhati Aankhein' was presented to the public at the Punjab Kala Bhawan, Sector 16, Chandigarh. On this occasion, the ceremony started by welcoming the guests and presenting the book to the public.

Dr. Baljit Kaur said that a good poem is capable of touching your heart and expressing the deep thoughts that come out of the pores of our mind. She congratulated Madhavi Kataria and said that this poetry collection has enriched the literary world. 

She said that this poetry collection has been written in a lively and unique style which will have a profound impact on people's lives. Commending the poet  for her creative initiative, Cabinet Minister said that this book is an impressive accomplishment and has ability to imbue the readers with positive energy.

She said that She talks about the interests of the people even in the departmental works, and this pro-people voice also emerges clearly in her poems. She said that the relevance of books has remained intact and especially, the books which are written keeping in mind all age groups, are more popular among the people and reaches into the audience to the largest extent.

It is worth mentioning that Madhavi Kataria is an IAS officer. She is the Director of Social Security, Women and Child Development Department in the Punjab Government. A large number of intellectuals, writers and poets participated on this occasion.
