Selection of beneficiaries under HADP held at Kulgam

For selection of beneficiaries under various components/activities in Fisheries and Sheep Husbandry sectors under Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP) for the current year 2023-24, a meeting of District Level Committee (DLC) for implementation of HADP was today held under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather at mini-secretariat here.

During the meeting, under the fisheries sector a total of 20 beneficiaries were selected including 05 women beneficiaries for 14 numbers of  Trout Raceways, 04 small RAS units, 01 Trout Seed Hatchery unit and 01 Cold Storage Unit.In addition 02 beneficiaries were also selected under CSS, PMMSY Scheme for construction of Trout Raceway and 01 Motor Cycle with Ice Box.

Under Sheep sector the committee made a selection of beneficiaries for 20 commercial sheep farms which included 14 General, 4 ST, 2 Women units.Selection of beneficiaries for 10 tents, PP sheets and construction of 01 Kotha/Doka (to Chopan and Nomad community) was also done.

The committee also made Selection of one FPO for Wool & Pelt aggregation and value processing and marketing.The meeting was attended by JDP Zahid Sajjad,ACR Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, ACD Mohammad Imran, GM DIC Bashir Ahmad and other District/ Sectoral Heads of agriculture and allied sectors.
