Government Degree College Kishtwar today hosted a documentary screening titled "MAHATMA GANDHI AND NATION BUILDING" in the college's conference hall.The event was part of the fortnightly activities being organized by the College from today to 2nd October, commemorating the forthcoming Gandhi Jayanti 2023.

Under the patronage of Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Principal of the College, and with the invaluable guidance and support of Dr. Vijay Kumar, Prof. Randeep Kumar, and Prof. Sonika, the event unfolded seamlessly.

The documentary screening attracted a vibrant audience, with a total of 150 students in attendance, joined by dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff members from the college. The occasion served as an educational and inspiring tribute to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi.

"Mahatma Gandhi and Nation Building" depicted the extraordinary journey of Mahatma Gandhi in his pursuit of truth, non-violence, and the betterment of our nation. It illuminated his pivotal role in India's struggle for independence and nation-building.

Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Principal of Government Degree College Kishtwar, expressed her gratitude towards all participants and reiterated the importance of Mahatma Gandhi's teachings in shaping the future of our nation.

This remarkable event aligns with the college's commitment to fostering a sense of patriotism, social responsibility, and moral values among its students.
