ADDC Poonch Inspects progress of Developmental Projects in Mandi

Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Poonch, Sandesh Kumar Sharma, undertook a visit to Mandi today to inspect progress of ongoing developmental projects in the region.During the tour, the ADDC meticulously examined the works carried out by the Rural Engineering Wing Poonch.  

He inspected the repair and renovation of Panchayat Ghar Azamabad  taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 3.30 Lakh and the segregation shed at Bedar and Gagrian Chool under the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM)  taken up at estimated costs of Rs 4.055 Lakh and allotted costs of Rs 3.20 Lakh  and Rs 3.72 Lakh respectively.

The pace of work on a retaining wall near Barari Part 1 and Part 2 in Panchayat Gagrian Chool were also inspected. The twin works have been taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 3.30 Lakh and Rs 3.00 Lakh, and allotted cost of Rs 2.80 Lakh and Rs 3.00 Lakh, respectively.

The segregation shed at Gali in Panchayat  Gagrian B, with an estimated cost of Rs 4.055 Lacs and an allotted cost of Rs 3.54 Lacs, was also  inspected.Apart from these works, the ADDC also inspected a range of other projects, including the Indoor Sports Stadium in Mandi, the Azamabad to Saroi Road, the Government Degree College campus site at Mandi and the JJM Scheme in Azamabad.

Discussions were held with the local community of Mandi regarding issues of public importance. The Officer also inspected Government Middle School at Karran, Government High School at Bedar, the Bedar-Phawari Road, the Khet to Paralkote Road, the Tourist Hut at Gagardian, and the languishing project of STD at Sawjian were also assessed during the inspection.

After the inspection of the ongoing developmental works, the Additional District Development Commissioner, Sandesh Kumar Sharma directed the concerned executive engineers and officers to work with utmost dedication and exert full efforts to ensure that the projects are completed within the designated time frame.

The Additional District Development Commissioner was accompanied by accompanied by CEO Poonch  Development Authority, Dr..Mohd Tanveer; Tehsildar Mandi, Shazad Latief Khan; AEE REW SUB DIVISION POONCH, Mohd Khalid, AEE PWD, REW, PDD, AE REW DIVISION Poonch, Nadeem Ahmed, Junior Engineers REW,Raj Kanwal and Talat Mir, JEs etc.
