Government Polytechnic Jammu organised a certificate distribution and felicitation programme at its Center for Invention, Innovation, Incubation and Training Jammu (CIIIT Jammu), here today. The programme was organized under the guidance and supervision of the Principal,  Er. Arun Bangotra.

During the felicitation programme, Interactive sessions were conducted and certificates were handed over to the students after successful competition of 03 Months CIIIT courses (CIIIT Jammu).

A total 115 students received their CIIIT Certificates on the successful completion of training in courses of Mechatronics and IoT, Finite Element Analysis, CAD Engineering, Digital Manufacturing and Industrial Robotics, Machine Tool/CNC Operator etc.

Others present on the occasion were Er. Inderjeet Singh, Workshop Superintendent; Er. Sukhdeep Singh, HOD Civil Engineering; Er Rani Devi, HOD Computer Engg; Er Manjeet Singh, HOD Electrical Engg;  Er. Raj Kumar, H.O.D Mechanical Engg; Sandeep Nimbalkar, Incharge CIIIT Jammu and SMEs of TATA Technologies.The Principal congratulated the students for the successful completion of CIIIT Courses. 

He further informed that J&K Government, in collaboration with TATA Technologies Ltd,  has established State of the Art Technology Center – Center for Invention, Innovation, Incubation and Training [CIIIT] at Government Polytechnic College Jammu for imparting training to students of Engineering Colleges, Polytechnics and ITIs, Engineering Graduates, Industry Professionals and Faculties of Technical Institutes of the UT of J&K in modern Engineering Tools necessary for Product Design, Development, Manufacturing and providing training to latest technology to the students, unemployed youth and Industry people so as to make them Industry ready people and as such providing them access to gain insights into Industry 4.0 and other Disruptive Technologies and for creating entrepreneurship.
