Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations Jammu today organised a symposium on the topic "World First Aid Day" at Aryan Oriental Convent Higher Secondary School, Udhampur. As many as 21 students participated in the competition.
The objective of organizing the symposium was to educate the students regarding the techniques of providing First Aid help to save precious life in the event of an emergency.The students presented valuable information on the topic and use of the First Aid Box as well.
Students were judged on parameters of Pronunciation, Modulation of Voice, Factual Representation, confidence etc.Amrit Lal Sharma, Shilpa Rani and Vicky Sharma were the Judges for the day.1st position was bagged by Pratibha Singh, 2nd position was secured by Upasana Jamwal and 3rd Position was secured by Panthveer Singh. Consolation prizes were given to Dhriti and Sana.
While speaking on the occasion Chairman of the School, Upkar Jamwal educated the students regarding the topic and appreciated the Department of Information & Public Relations for organising such a meaningful event in the school.Among others, Principal of the school, Kiran Jamwal, staff members and a large number of students witnessed the programme.
