Bhagwant Mann Government is highly concerned about education of Punjab's youth. The Ferozpur - Fazilka belt is on the border of Pakistan which have remained neglected in the past but our govt will ensure good education for the students of this belt.

Is is dream of every student to pursue higher education in Chandigarh. We appreciate Aryans Group of colleges, Rajpura near Chandigarh who has opened the doors of its college for the students of this border belt.

Especially in the past SC students were not given the seats in the big cities but our govt  has started giving the funds for not only the existing govt but we have also started paying the outstanding amount of previous govt even.

I am happy to learn that the needy and deserving students of this backward area will get the opportunity to study in Good courses like Engineering, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing, Paramedical, Management etc in Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh free of cost.

This was said by Gurmeet Singh Khuddian, Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development, Food Processing, Govt of Punjab while inaugurating Aryans Scholarship Mela at Fazilka as Chief Guest. This event was organised by Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh, Aryans Overseas & Gurukul Education Welfare Society, Fazilka.

The Guests of Honour in this scholarship mela were S. Narinder Pal Singh Sawna, MLA Fazilka & Sh. Karan Gilhotra, Co Chairman-PHD Chamber, Chandigarh while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group  presided over the Event. Dr. Senu Duggal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Fazilka was Special Guest of the event.

Narinder Pal Singh Sawana while addressing said that I am happy to learn that Dr. Anshu Kataria has studied in 1983-88 in Fazilka & since he has his roots in Fazilka so I am delighted to know that he has started serving this area & taken the initiative to provide higher education to needy students on scholarship basis.

Now the students of this region will also make their dream of studying near a big city like Chandigarh true, added Sawana.Karan Gilhotra said that Dr. Anshu Kataria is a good friend of mine. I requested him to provide higher education of my belt & he has kindly accepted my request and I am happy that in last 2-3 years around 150-200 students of this area are studying at Aryans & strengthening their goal to achieve a good career, Gilhotra said.

Sh. Bhura Ram, Director, Gurukul Education Welfare Society said that it's the dream of every student to study in Chandigarh, who belong to the border area of Abohar, Fazilka etc. But due to lack of money the students cannot afford the high fee structure of many educational institutions.

In this program, SC/ ST students would be given free education while on the other hand General students have also been selected for partial scholarship as per Govt rules. I am thankful for the initiative of Chairman, Aryans Group.

Around 50 eligible students were selected under the SC / ST Scholarship Scheme scholarship letters were distributed. After getting the scholarship letters, the students said that they are thankful to Aryans Group for doing virtuous work by giving admission under Scholarship Scheme on zero fee basis.

The students assured that they will illuminate not only their parents but also the name of Aryans in academics. On the occasion Others members of Gurukul society Dr. Tarsem, Sahib ramSunil, Gurjeet singh, Satbir Singh, Rakesh sharma were also present.
