Punjab and Himachal Pradesh has been witnessing heavy rainfalls for a while now which has caused massive destructions in various areas and leading to the last night heavy rains in Punjab, the state government has announced holidays in all the schools of the state from 23 August 2023 to 26 August 2023 as per the tweet shared by the Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains. 

Bains took to his Twitter handle and shared the news announcing that CM Bhgawant Mann has declared that all the schools of the state will remain closed amid the predictions made of heavy rainfall in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. All the schools, private or aided will be closed for three days that is 23 August to 26 August 2023 as per the order.

Not only this, Shimla and Mandi and various other regions of Himachal Pradesh including Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kullu, Solan, Sirmaur and Una have also been facing harsh rainfalls due to which alert have been issued reading to the closing of educational institutions in the regions.
