To have first hand appraisal of public grievances, the District Administration Ganderbal today conducted grievances redressal camp as part of weekly Block Diwas for block Kangan at panchayat ghar Kijpora, Kangan.The Grievances camp was presided over by Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDM) Kangan, Javaid Ahmad Rather.

The camp witnessed overwhelming participation of individuals and PRIs who apprised the SDM about the problems being faced by the people and genuine concerns of development.The main issues highlighted during the camp were related to augmentation of water supply and electricity infrastructure, better healthcare facilities and other issues of public importance.

The SDM gave a patient hearing to them and maintained that district administration is serious about resolving the issues raised by the people and PRI members through various forms in a time bound manner and assured them that their concerns will be looked into on priority.The programme was attended by Tehsildar Kangan, BDO Kangan and other officials of line departments.
