The film Lagaan is one of the superhit blockbuster films released on 15 June 2001 which broke many records while entertaining audiences with its storyline and execution.   • Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

The Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is the biographical journey of legendary Milkha Singh aka The Flying Sikh, Indian track and field sprinter who made India proud globally. Played by Farhan Akhtar, the film introduces us to the remarkable journey of his life from a homeless man to a world class champion athlete. The film sketches his personal and professional hardships and the way he overcame everything in his life. The film was released on 11 July 2013 and you can experience his journey on OTT platform Hotstar.

  • Chak De! India 

The film Chak De! India is one of the most inspiring movies that will awaken the sense of nationalism inside you. The film follows the story of an ex-captain of Indian Hockey Team played by Shah Rukh Khan who was ostracised owing to religious prejudice after a loss of match to Pakistan, labelled as corrupt, is given a chance to rebuild his image and respect by coaching Indian Women's Hockey Team, a team which was less in spirit and from diverse backgrounds. Under his guidance the team rises against all odds that come their way.

  • M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story

The biographical tale of legendary cricketer, former Indian National Cricket Team Captain, and an iconic figure of the cricket world, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The film released on 30 September 2016 features late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who gave absolute justice in playing the role of the cricketer by introducing the audiences to his personal as well as professional struggles of life. His journey as a ticket collector to an iconic cherished cricketer is available to watch on Hotstar.

The biographical sports drama film Dangal follows the story of a wrestler of Northern India Mahavir Singh Phogat played by Aamir Khan who could not fulfil his dream of winning India an International gold medal and then sees the same dream for his son but gets blessed with four girls. His passion leads his two girls Geeta and Babita Phogat to live his dream and win medals for the country while living in a highly conservative and patriarchal society. Dangal was released on 23 December 2016 and is currently available to watch on Netflix.

The film Soorma is based on the legendary Indian Hockey player Sandeep Singh and his comeback from the near death accident that he experienced in his life when he was at the peek of his career. The film portrays the determination and hard work of the celebrated sportsman, how he made his comeback to the game coming out of the trauma. If you want to witness the life of Sandeep Singh and what and how happened to him and his comeback then the film Soorma is a sure hit for you. The film 83 is based on the India national cricket team led by Kapil Dev portrayed by Ranveer Singh, and the incredible winning of 1983 Cricket World Cup.
