Special revision of MER 2023 reviewed at Ganderbal

The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah who is also Observer Municipal Electoral Roll, today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress on completion of Special Revision of Municipal Electoral Roll-2023 at DC Office Ganderbal.

During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held for successful completion of special revision of MER 2023.The ADC directed all the PSLOs to conduct door to door surveys and register all the eligible voters during the current special summary revision.The stress was laid to purify the health of e-roll also and ensure the Assured Minimum Facilities of concerned Polling stations are in place.

The ADC Sensitized the BLOs about completing documentation formalities while accepting the forms of Claims and Objections during Special Summary Revision and directed them to complete the task in a time bound manner.The meeting was attended by Deputy District Election Officer, ACR and all the concerned PSLOs/BLOs of Municipal Council Ganderbal.
