Mobile phones, photography and videography finally banned days after the YouTuber proposing a video in temple premises went viral. The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) was yet to announce the final decision after complaining to the police, but now the decision has come out leading to full ban on mobile phones.
With the announcement of the ban, big boards have also been placed at the premises directing the public on the prohibition of any kind of photography and videography inside temple premises. Boards reads, “Any type of photography or videography is strictly prohibited inside the temple premises; Legal actions will be taken against the people caught doing the same.”
Many visitors were making reels and videos in the premises which was disrespecting the sentiments due to which the committee was forced to take strict action against them keeping in mind the indecent behaviour eventually leading to the ban of mobile phones and cameras.
