District Development Council Chairperson, Udhampur, Lal Chand today conducted an extensive tour of Block Latti and launched construction work of a number of developmental works.DDC Latti-Marothi,  Pinky Devi, Sarpanch Latti-A, Kasturi Lal Gupta, SDM Dudu, Kulraj Singh, Officials of Revenue Department including Tehsildar , Naib Tehsildar , BDO Latti, SHO Latti, officials of PHE department including AEE Rakesh Chandan, AE, Arun Gupta, JE Narayan Swaroop and Joginder Jandial and Other prominent person of the Area were present accompanied the DDC Chairman.

During the visit, the DDC Chairman kick-Started the work of WSS Latti, which will be executed at a cost of Rs 9.94 crore. 

The said project is a Lift Water Supply Scheme and will cover two Panchayats - Latti-A and Latti-B comprising around 1080 households. Once completed, every household in the vicinity will get clean tap water resolving the problem of dearth of potable water in these Panchayats.

The DDC Chairperson also Kick-Started the Work of WSS Pattangarh which will be executed at a cost of Rs 5.94 crore. The Project Once completed, will provide clean water to every household in the vicinity.Speaking on the Occasion, the chairperson DDC Udhampur urged the Officials of PHE to work with efficiency and complete the work well in time.

 En-route, the DDC Chairperson also visited the Community Health Center (CHC) Latti where he checked the diagnostic facilities, attendance of staff   and other things. He gave instructions to the employees of the CHC on how to best assist the area's impoverished residents.

Speaking on the Occasion, DDC, Latti expressed special thanks to the Chairman DDC Udhampur for the efforts put in for accelerating the development of the area and also congratulated the inhabitants of the area. The Chairman DDC Udhampur also appreciated the efforts of PRI Members in taking forward the developmental activities in the Panchayats.

He also acknowledged the efforts of the Jal Shakti Department and urged the functionaries to see to it that all approved projects are started and finished on schedule to benefit the local public in all respects.
