The preparations for the 9th International Day of Yoga, set to take place on June 21, 2023, at the sports stadium in Poonch, are in full swing. Chaired by the Additional District Development Commissioner, Malikzada Shera Ul Haq, a meeting was held to discuss the necessary arrangements for the successful execution of the event.
Several officials attended the meeting, including CMO Poonch, Dr. Anees Altaf Nabi, District Ayush Officer, Sanjay Raina and other concerned officers from various departments. Chief Executive Officer of Municipal Council Poonch was entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness of the venue and its surroundings while the District Youth Services and Sports Officer, was tasked with the installation of tents and chairs, ensuring a comfortable experience for the participants.
Efforts are being made to ensure a successful and memorable event, aimed at promoting the practice of Yoga and its numerous benefits. The collective determination of the officials involved reflects their commitment to creating an enriching experience for the participants on this significant day.
