Dr. Charanjit Singh Atwal, Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha notified the constitution of 13 committees for the legislative work for the year 2014-15.Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha said Mr. Pargat Singh has been named as Chairman of Public Undertaking Committee, Mr. Ashwani Kumar Sharma as Chairman of Question and Reference Committee, Mr. Jagmohan Singh Kang as Chairman of Public Accounts Committee, Mr. Dinesh Singh as Ex-Officio Chairman of House Committee, Mr. Sarwan Singh Phillaur as Chairman of Government Assurance Committee, Mr. Maheshinder Singh as Chairman of Library Committee, Mr. Deep Malhotra as Chairman of the Privileges Committee, Justice Nirmal Singh as Chairman of Welfare Committee, Mrs. Harchand Kaur as Chairperson of Paper Laid Committee, Mr. S.R. Kaler as Chairman of Petition Committee, Mr. Manoranjan Kalia as Chairman of Subordinate Legislation Committee, Mr. Gurpartap Singh Wadala as Chairman of Estimates Committee and Mr. Harpreet Singh has been nominated as Chairman of Local Bodies Committee.
