Shahid Kapoor is evolving himself and proving his versatility through his roles in action films. We earlier saw some glimpses of high octane action performed by Shahid in the teaser of his upcoming film Bloody Daddy which created buzz all around and now the makers have unveiled the trailer power packed with a lot of action which is proving itself to be one of the biggest action films of the year.
Speaking about the trailer of the film Bloody Daddy, hints that the film is a story of one shattering night revolving around Shahid Kapoor’s character Sumair who has to face off so many things in order to save one relationship which matters to him. In order to do so he had to indulge in drug mafia, crime, cops, murders and many in return.
The trailer looks quite promising with heart wrenching action by Shahid Kapoor who can be seen in a very different yet classy avatar. The action, Shahid’s looks and performance and the background music is really giving goosebumps. The trailer has raised the bars of excitement among the fans to see their action star in a badass avatar.

Shahid also shared his experience on working in this film with the director Ali Abbas Zafar on which he said, "It was a lot of fun. I had a great time doing an action film, I really enjoyed working with Ali. He understands the genre very well. The dilemma now is that if you're doing something of this scale, on OTT, what do you do on the big screen? So we have to figure that out, it has been a blast.”
"There's a lot of choreography involved with dance, and because I started dancing at the age of 15, I can memorise things really fast, that helped us. When we did the film, unfortunately, due to COVID we had a lot of issues. The action directors were not from here, some of them were from London, some came from Hollywood, and they are used to a lot of rehearsals. And they came in and they thought that it is going to be a disaster. But because I have done a lot of dancing I could pick it up really fast," he added.
Bloody Daddy is going to be streamed on OTT platform Jio Cinemas from 9 June 2023. Ronit Roy and Diana Penty will be seen portraying major roles along with Shahid Kapoor while Rajeev Khandelwal, Sanjay Kapoor and Rajeev Bhatia will be seen in important roles.
