The District Administration Ganderbal today convened a Grievance Redressal Camp as a part of weekly Block Diwas programme at Govt Middle School Kurag Sherpathri, here.The camp was presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani along with Vice-Chairperson DDC Ganderbal, Bilal Ahmad.

The camp witnessed overwhelming participation of Sarpanchs, Panchs and locals of block Sherpathri who apprised the ADDC about various issues pertaining to their areas and sought his intervention for timely redressal of the grievances.

On the occasion, the locals and PRI members raised various demands and issues like playground at Kurag, upgradation and protection wall of Govt Middle School Kurag, upgradation of roads, augmentation of HT and LT poles, ATM facility at Kurag, better transport facilities, and other issues of public importance.

The ADDC gave a patient hearing to all issues and grievances raised and assured timely redressal of genuine issues.While replying to the demands, the ADDC said the District Administration is ensuring timely redressal of the genuine demands and a proper mechanism is adopted to ensure transparency and accountability at all levels.

He also gave on spot instructions to the officers for ensuring timely redressal of genuine issues pertaining to their departments as per their competence.Among others, the programme was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Irfan Giri, ACD Ganderbal, Bashir Ahmad, ACP Ganderbal and other District and Sectoral Officers.
