Intensifying canvassing in Phillaur assembly constituency, MLA Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary on Monday launched ‘Santokh Sampark Abhiyan,’ a massive door-to-door campaign to reach the people of the constituency and seek support for the party's candidate, Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary. The on ground campaign will cover households, markets, shops and other establishments in the assembly constituency.

MLA Chaudhary flagged off the campaign in Apra and met with local people. In his conversation with voters, MLA Chaudhary urged them to vote for Congress candidate Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary in the by poll and pay tribute to beloved leader Chaudhary Santokh Singh.

After the launch, former Nawanshahr MLA Angad Singh Saini walked door to door in Apra along with the party supporters and appealed everyone to vote in favour of the Congress candidate. In Phillaur city, MLA Chaudhary’s wife, Shveta Raj Chaudhary took to streets and campaigned for the Congress party.

MLA Vikramjit Chaudhary said his father was an immensely popular leader, who worked to solve people’s problems to their satisfaction and brought happiness in their lives.

“The Santokh Sampark Abhiyan is an opportunity for the people to share their memories about the beloved leader Chaudhary Santokh Singh ji and pay tribute to his vision and legacy. The campaign will reach every household with a request to vote for Congress candidate Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary Ji on 10th May,” he said.
