ADDC Kulgam reviews arrangements for Jumat-ul-Vida, Shab-e-Qadr, Eid-ul-Fitr

The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather today reviewed the arrangements for forthcoming auspicious occasions of Shab-e-Qadr, Jumat ul Vida and Eid ul Fitr in a meeting held at mini-secretariat, here.

On the occasion, the ADDC reviewed availability of meat, poultry, ration and LPG in the district besides other essential items in markets.The meeting was informed that a sufficient quantity of essential items including ration, fish, meat and chicken besides LPG gas is available for public consumption.

ADDC directed concerned officers to ensure smooth power and drinking water supply during these days to people.EOs were directed to conduct sanitation and cleaning drives at Masjids, Eidgahs and Shrines.

Regarding transport facility to the devotees who throng to shrines/mosques for congregational prayers, ADDC directed concerned officials to ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience on these days.

The meeting was attended by ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri, ACR Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, Ex. Engineers of PHE, PDD and R&B, Tehsildars and officers from Health, Fire & Emergency, Animal Husbandry, Police, Sheep Husbandry, FCS&CA, Legal Metrology, ULBs and other departments.Members from Auqaf, trade and transporters also attended the meeting.
