Ajay Devgn has been in talks for his film Bholaa which released today on 30 March 2023. As announced earlier, with the grand release of Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa, the teaser of his another upcoming film ‘Maidaan’ is out now which will surely take you back to the golden era of Football.
Maidaan which was in pipeline for almost the last two years is now all set to have a big release on the silver screens. The teaser of the film is finally out now. Ajay Devgn took to his twitter and wrote "#Maidaan mein utrenge Gyarah par dikhenge Ek. A True Story. Teaser out now”

Speaking about the teaser, it opens with a football ground with heavy rainfall and the announcement of the Football match in the rain and India qualifying for the Olympics twice in the five years of the independence and the hardships of Indian players playing football without shoes. The journey of the Indian Football team, their struggles, their practice, hardwork and most importantly Ajay Devgn’s character Syed Abdul Rahim the football coach who trained them and how he and his team gave it their all.
Maidaan is said to be Ajay’s one of the most ambitious projects till date for which he is working hard for a long time. Maidaan is a sports drama based on the true story of a hero, Syed Abdul Rahim, a football coach and manager of the Indian Football team from 1950 until his death in 1963.
The film is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and also stars Priyamani, Rudranil Ghosh and Gajraj Rao in main roles along with Ajay Devgn. It is presented by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor and produced by Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta along with Boney. The film is slated to hit the cinema screens on 23 June 2023.
