Established in 1997-98, EMRS aims to provide quality education to ST children in remote areas, enabling them to pursue higher education and employment opportunities.

EMRSs are set up in States/UTs with grants under Article 275(1) of the Constitution of India. During his visit, Dr. Saraswat congratulated the District Administration for setting up such a well-equipped school and making it functional in a short duration.

He urged the students and staff to ensure that every child without access to education is given the opportunity to study at the school. He emphasized that the Government of India is committed to ensuring that every child in the country has access to excellent education.
