Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan today distributed appointment orders among AAYAS and Helpers in a function conducted at Govt Higher Secondary School Harda-Panzoo, here.

16 Appointment orders were distributed among the eligible beneficiaries on the occasion. The Chairman DDC while addressing the gathering said that appointment of AAYAS and Helpers in the schools will ensure the saturation of all welfare schemes in the School Education Department including Mid Day Meal Scheme etc.

“Government is ensuring quality education and effective infrastructure in the schools and every effort should be taken to ensure all facilities are provided to the students so that the loss incurred during previous years is compensated at an earliest”, Khan added.

The Chairman DDC earlier in the day also participated in a function at Govt High School Aripanthan and took a review of the facilities being provided to the students.

Chief Education Officer Budgam, Member DDC Sukhnag, BDC Chairperson Sukhnag, senior officers of the Education Department, PRI members were also present during the function.
