In a significant move to highlight the socio-economic and development profile of the district, District Development Commissioner Samba Anuradha Gupta today released three publications ”District Statistical Handbook” for the year 2020-21; ”Village Amenity Directory” for the year 2021-22 and District at a Glance 2021-22 here at a brief release function organised in her Office Chamber.
Rakesh Dubey, Additional Deputy Commissioner; Sukhleen Kour, Chief Planning Officer; Narinder Kumar, District Statistics and Evaluation Officer and other staff members of DSEO were present at the release ceremony.
District statistics & Evaluation office is the Nodal Agency for collection, compilation and dissemination of important Statistical data in the district. The data in the Publications will serve as an important tool for the Researchers, Planners, students and other users in their respective fields.
