Acting
Binnu Dhillon as an actor in a comic role is always a treat to watch and once again he shines out bright. Binnu Dhillon as Jaggi is full of joy. His dialogue delivery is beyond perfect and his bickering with other co-stars was the icing on the cake.
With his expressiveness and distinctive manner, BN Sharma (Nathu Lal) has a special way of captivating a crowd. This time again his magic has worked and he has delivered yet another brilliant performance in the movie.
Rajat Bedi who made his Pollywood debut with this movie was the surprise element and has given a top-notch performance as Pali.
Despite sharing the screen with two of the greatest comic actors working today, he never looked worn out. Overcoming the language barrier, he looked comfortable with his dialogue delivery and his character understanding was brilliant.
Both Navneet Kaur Dhillon (Neetu), and Ihana Dhillon (Rupi) have done a good job on their part. Despite having little on-screen time, they won hearts with their performances. Dilawar Sidhu was amazing and entertaining as Shamsher.
Every character plays their part perfectly and also supports each other on big screens very neatly.
Story & Screenplay
The story of the movie is quite amazing and it starts with a dispute between BN Sharma (Nathu Lal) who is the owner of a sweet shop and Binnu Dhillon (Jaggi) who works as a worker in his shop. A joyful ride begins from there and the introduction of Rajat Bedi (Pali) triples the fun. All the characters struggling to earn money for their needs finally encounter a situation to overcome their problems. We see an exciting trip filled with joy and excitement through all the ups and downs of their quest to get money.
The screenplay of the movie Gol Gappe is good and every character's story is narrated rightfully. There were no rush elements in the movie which could have ruined the fun.
Direction
Comedy movies are difficult to direct and one requires special skills and imagination.
Smeep Kang is the one who consistently conquers this space with ease when it comes to providing direction for a story with funny characters. His way of presenting a situation is not only great but unique, and that's what makes him a powerful director.

Music & Background Score
There are four songs in the movie which never looked to be forced and fit perfectly according to the situation in the movie. Moreover, the BGM of the film Gol Gappe also needs some praise as when it comes to the funny part, the people really laughed at it and when it jumped to the intense portion, the audience really hooked to the screen. So, all in all we can say that music as a background score deserves equal appreciation.
Writing and Dialogues
The story of the Punjabi film Gol Gappe is filled with hilarious rides. Raju Verma Has done a fabulous job in writing each character perfectly. The dialogues are brilliant and perfectly fit to every facet. The story is simple yet amazing. It not only entertains the audience but also teaches them a great lesson. All in all, we can say that it's worth one time watching a film. A great comedy which includes an amazing star cast made by a heart-winning director becomes a good-to-go film.
