DDC Rajouri Vikas Kundal reviews progress under BADP

District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal conducted a thorough review of the implementation of Border Area Development Program (BADP) in the region. The program aims to provide development and economic opportunities to the residents living in the border areas.

During the review, the DDC was informed that out of the 68 allotted works under BADP, 24 have been completed and 42 are in different stages of execution, while work on two have not been started yet. 

The District Development Commissioner expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the program and emphasised the importance of timely completion of the remaining works.

"The Border Area Development Program is a crucial initiative that plays a vital role in the overall development of the border areas,” said the DDC. The District Developed Commissioner also emphasised the need for efficient utilisation of resources and close monitoring of the ongoing works to ensure timely completion and optimum utilisation of funds.

He also urged the officials to take necessary steps to address any difficulties faced during the implementation of the program. The meeting was attended by CPO, Mohd Khurshid; ACD, Vijay Verma; DSEO Rajouri, Sandeep Sharma; EXN REW and Block Development Officers.
