Calendar depicting the mesmerizing rising Sun in different parts of Punjab putting together awe – inspiring Natural Pictorial glimpse, captured through Camera lens at Banks of River Beas, Sutlej, Harike Pattan, Nangal Dam, Ranjit Sagar Dam and Punjab Agricultural University by eminent Author, Environmentalist and Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu was released by Commissioner of Police Ludhiana Mr. Mandeep Singh Sidhu, IPS along with Padma Shri Dr. Surjit Patar (Chairman Arts Council) Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal (Vice Chancellor PAU), Mr. Parneet Sachdev, IRS (Chief Commissioner of Income Tax) and Padma Bhushan Dr SS Johl (former Chancellor Central University of Punjab) today during a special launch event held at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana.
Commissioner of Police Ludhiana Mr. Mandeep Singh Sidhu, IPS after releasing the Calendar, stated that this Calendar prepared by Harpreet Sandhu is really a master piece showcasing the mesmerizing views of Sunrise reminding us all that we need to respect nature and stay connected with our Creator, he appreciated the concept initiated by Harpreet Sandhu.
Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Jaspreet Singh, IAS also graced the pious occasion and described the Pictorial worn on the Sunrise of Punjab as a very meaningful and educating towards promoting Sunrise locations of Punjab by Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu in form of a Calendar.
Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Mr. Parneet Sachdev, IRS acknowledged the Pictorial Work by Harpreet Sandhu and said that witnessing a Sunrise is one of the most majestic spectacles to witness and Harpreet Sandhu has beautifully portrayed these in his Pictorial Calendar in a unique way which will definitely promote these Natural Sunrise locations on the map of Punjab Tourism.
Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal Vice Chancellor PAU applauded Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu for beautifully capturing the early morning Sunrise at Punjab Agricultural University forest area and portraying in his Pictorial Work in form of Calendar 2023 depicting theme “ਸੂਰਜੁ ਏਕੋ ਰੁਤਿ ਅਨੇਕ- All Seasons Originate from the one Sun”. Dr. Gosal further stated that each sunrise if message from Almighty that He loves us all.
Padma Shri Dr Surjit Patar Chairman Arts Council Govt of Punjab applauded the dedicated efforts of Harpreet Sandhu to come up with a beautiful Calendar and said that, “the Sun symbolizes a new dawn, a new ray of hope and a bright new day to start a new chapter of life.
Padma Bhushan Dr. S.S Johl Chancellor Central University of Punjab also acknowledged this meaningful Calendar prepared by Harpreet Sandhu and stated that this Calendar will encourage the people to value nature in their daily lives.
Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu said that the motive of compiling this Calendar “ਸੂਰਜੁ ਏਕੋ ਰੁਤਿ ਅਨੇਕ- All Seasons Originate from the one Sun” is to spread pious message within the entire humanity that Sun is the essence of life on Mother Earth, as all the seconds, minutes, hours, days, weekdays months and seasons originate from one Sun which every day provides light and heat for our Mother Earth.
