A meeting of District level Screening cum Co-ordination Committee (DLSCC) was today held here under the chairmanship of District Magistrate (DM) Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq Choudhary. 

Out of the cases taken up for discussion, the meeting cleared most of them, including cases of death, cases of damages, cases of injury and cases of SRO-43 and police personal case approved in favour of the NoKs of Militancy victims under Death/Missing/Injured/Damaged and SRO-43 cases as per the guidelines.

The eligibility including qualification of the applicants was also taken into account while deciding the appointment cases. The Reports from Police, CID and Army were thoroughly discussed while deciding the cases.  All the necessary guidelines as per SRO-43 were also kept in view. 

Speaking on the occasion, the DM said District Administration shall ensure there is nil pendency of such cases requiring immediate relief to the people. He stressed the concerned Officers to ensure speedy disposal of all such cases for timely clearance of the cases. 

Among others, the meeting was attended by SSP Pulwama and Awantipora, ADDC Pulwama, CO-44 RR, CO-50 RR, CO-183,182  Bn CRPF, Additional Deputy Commissioners of Tral, Awantipora and Pulwama, Superintending Engineer R&B Pulwama, Assistant Commissioner Revenue  Pulwama, Chief Medical Officer, all Tehsildars and various Officers from Police, Army, CID besides other concerned.
