In order to review the functioning of ICDS in Gurez Sub Division of Bandipora District, the District Programme Officer (DPO) ICDS Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak on Tuesday visited various areas of Gurez.

The DPO was accompanied by SDM Gurez, PO DIC Mehraj Wani, DIO NIC MalaRam and other concerned. The team conducted visits to various Anganwadi centres to inspect various parameters and functioning of the centres. 

They also held detailed inspections of Anganwadi centers and took feedback from staff and beneficiaries. The DPO later held a meeting  of concerned officers at the CDPO office. The meeting was informed that the Gurez subdivision has 3167 beneficiaries in 110 Aaganwari centres  including children, pregnant and lactating mothers.

The chair was informed that nutrition and all other benefits are provided to all 3167 beneficiaries besides all centres have drinking water, toilets and other essential facilities. Hakak on the occasion instructed the concerned to ensure provision  of all facilities and benefits of different schemes percolate to the eligible beneficiaries.
