Gandhi-Godse Ek Yudh is a movie that is based on a real-life event. As many people have watched these two very well-known personalities in front of their eyes. Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse were individually fighting for the freedom of the country, but their ideologies to make the country a free nation were different. One belongs to a community where one worked with silence and another one worked with violence. We have learned many stories in the childhood of these two.
Now finally an unexpected movie on this real-life happening is going to be framed in the cinema halls. After so many years, at least someone has tried to work on such kind of project. We remembered Mahatma Gandhi as the father of the nation and the saviours who saved Indian slavery from the British rulers. All we know is that Nathuram Godse had shot dead Mahatma Gandhi on 30 January 1948. The movie is based on the whole story of these two.

As Santoshi production has given various hit movies earlier. And now again they have seemingly emerged with that essence. The movie is directed and screenplay by Rajkumar Santoshi and music by AR Rahman, written by Asghar Wajahat, Cinematography by Rishi Punjabi, and produced by Manila Santoshi. The movie is scheduled to be released in cinema halls on 26 January 2023.
