Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh today organised an “Outreach Programme” at DC Office, Reasi under the “Aspirational District and Border Area District Outreach Initiative.” 

The programme was held in co-ordination with the District Administration, Reasi and various departments of Reasi, major Contractors and sub-contractors under various Government Organizations, including, Irrigation, PHE, PDD, PWD (R&B), Rural Development, Tourism, Department of Education, NHAI, NHIDCL, Konkan Railway, IRCON, CPWD, Department of Education, PMGSY, other institutions engaged in infrastructure and construction works areas among other would be participating in the event.

Another awareness programme was also organized by EPFO under the guidance of Rizwan Uddin, Regional P F Commissioner-I at conference hall of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Katra with subscribers of hospitals, major Contractors and sub-contractors under health departments.

The focus of the programme was on expanding the net of Social Security cover to the uncovered workers and labourers especially contract workers engaged with all the government departments, and creating awareness about the benefits available to the PF subscribers under the EPF & MP Act, 1952 and schemes (PF, Pension and Insurance) framed thereunder alongside sensitizing the Principal Employers about various services and facilities being provided by EPFO to various stakeholders.
