Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government P.G. College for Women Gandhinagar today organised a Rally to celebrate International Anti-Corruption Day with the theme" Uniting the World against Corruption".

As many as 194 volunteers of NSS Unit 1 and 2; cadets of 2 J&K Girls Bn.NCC; 1 J&K ,Srinagar and 1J&K Naval  participated in the rally under the Supervision of Prof. Mala Bhasin NSSPO (Unit-1); Dr.Neelima ANO Naval Unit ; Prof. Suman Bala, ANO 2J&K ; Prof. Poonam, CT 2J&K ; Prof. Sugandha Mahajan and Dr. Monika Hans, NSSPO (Unit-2).

The Rally started from the College Campus and marched to Parade Ground to merge into the huge congregation. The students were holding banners and Slogans to educate the public about the menace of Corruption and how to combat this malpractice.

The massive Rally made its way towards its final destination via Old City, Raghunath Bazar, Vivekananda Chowk to Hari Singh Park. The participants shouted slogans "Bhrashtachar dimak hai, dimak hai" etc.to sensitize the public around.

Principal of the College, Prof. Minu Mahajan applauded the Cadets, Volunteers and Mentors for stepping forward as ambassadors to make the UT of J&K Corruption free. The Mayor JMC Rajinder Sharma appealed the participants to not to stop this Awareness with the end of the program but imbibe this in their character to make the nation Corruption free.

The Rally culminated at Hari Singh Park with the distribution of Refreshment by the Organiser-Jammu Municipal Corporation.
