On the eve of 60th Annual Raising Day of Civil Defense & Home Guards, contingents of Civil Defense wardens/ volunteers, Home guards, SDRF and Aapda Mitra Trainee volunteers presented a March Past to commemorate the day.

Haseeb ur Rehman, Director, Civil Defence & SDRF, Kashmir took salute at the march past and praised the achievements of Civil Defense. He also read out the messages received from the President of India and other dignitaries.

Firdous Iqbal, Divisional Commandant, Home guards Kashmir also addressed the participating contingents and spoke about the Home guards. The officer read out messages received from the Prime Minister of India and some dignitaries as well. Mementos were also awarded to the participating contingents.
