Another heinous story has made the headlines. It has been reported that a close friend of Lawrence Bishnoi, namely Sonu Roorka, has been shot dead in Jalandhar district. If the news stories are to be believed, then Sonu, whose name is Ravinder Kumar from Rurka village, has been shot along with an elderly woman, Kuljeet Kaur of Satnampura.
While digging more into the news, Sonu, who is rumoured to be gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's close aide, allegedly went to the home of Kuljeet Kaur's son Baljinder Singh Aulakh to meet with him for some business. Sonu used to work for Baljinder, who ran a company that provided bouncers.

After that, Gurmeet Singh Aulakh, the president of the Punjab United Driver Union and a cousin of Baljinder, is said to have started the shooting. When the accused arrived and his car struck a motorcycle that was parked nearby, Baljinder, his mother, and Sonu were waiting at the gate of his home. Following an argument, Gurmeet allegedly started shooting with his licensed revolver.
During the shooting, Kuljeet Kaur was shot in the leg and injured, while Sonu was shot in the chest. When he reached the hospital, he was declared dead. Baljinder, on the other hand, tended to save himself.
Regarding the deceased Sonu's connections to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, the ACP stated that they had discovered images of Sonu and Bishnoi together on his social media accounts. Now, the investigation has determined that Sonu had engaged in any illegal activity or belonged to the Bishnoi gang.
