The Department of Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department (AP&FWD) Kulgam today organized a distribution cum awareness camp under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) at Nagarass, Kund here.The camp was attended by Chief Agriculture Officer, Kulgam, Field functionaries of Agriculture department, progressive/contact farmers, PRIs and youth of village Nagarass. 

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Agriculture Officer Kulgam, Sartaj Ahmad Shah said that the aim of conducting the camp is to provide benefit of High Yielding Varieties of crops for maximum yield and storage structures (Seed Bins) for minimizing the post-harvest losses by rodents and pests to the tribal farmers belonging to the far flung areas of Kulgam.

He said the aim of the programme is also to increase their production and productivity besides creating employment opportunities for the tribal community.Later, Seed and Storage structures were distributed among the beneficiaries.
