Additional Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Dr R K Bharti today chaired a meeting of the District Environment Committee and reviewed the implementation of the Action Plan.With regard to disposal of bio medical waste, the CMO and Medical Superintendent Associate Hospital Government Medical College Doda informed that an effective mechanism is in place for the management of bio waste in consonance with the prescribed procedure.

With regard to plastic waste management, the ADC directed the Divisional Officer PCC and all EOs to conduct extensive drives across their areas of jurisdictions under No Plastic No Garbage campaign and take appropriate action against the violators.

Referring to the directions of Commissioner Secretary Forest, all the three EOs of MCs and Divisional Officer PCC Doda were directed to take up the matter with Director Environment for training of the concerned.

The members were also directed to implement the decision of the order passed in MA No. 74/2022 for 100% utilisation of funds.The meeting was attended by GM DIC Doda, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Doda, CMO Doda, MS AH GMC Doda, Divisional Officer PCC, EO MC Doda, EO MC Bhaderwah, and other concerned officials.
