The District Administration Doda today convened a series of public grievance redressal camps at panchayat Kansar, Panchayat Bhatyas, Panchayat Ganohta and tehsil headquarter Bhella as a part of Weekly Block Diwas.ADC Bhaderwah, Ch Dil Mir; SDM Gandoh, Arun Kumar Bhadyal; SDM Assar, Lekh Raj; SDM Thathri, Athar Amin Zargar and other district and sectoral officers listened and redressed the public grievances during the block Diwas meetings.

The BDC Chairpersons, DDC members and general public highlighted different issues pertaining to their areas and sought fast track execution of road and other projects, payment of pending land compensations, payment of pending PMAY installments, establishment of bank branches, meeting shortage of staff in health, education and revenue departments, improvement of roads, and other like issues. 

The authorities gave a patient hearing and majority of the genuine issues were settled on the spot by giving directions to the concerned authorities.The Public was also made aware of various individual and community welfare schemes run by different departments in the district.

Meanwhile, the departments also provided various services  to the locals on spot which included distribution of domicile certificates, Land Pass books, category certificate, revenue extracts, DOB/Death certificates, and other general certificates, besides registration for Ayushmaan Bharat schemes and E- shram etc.
