Ayushmann Khurrana, who has already set a benchmark in Bollywood with his unconventional film, is setting some goals by starring in an action film. The actor is currently preparing for the film "Action Hero." Moreover, the team has already dropped the trailer for the film. Not only this, Ayushmann previously described the film as a ‘disruptive genre-breaker’.
Speaking of the trailer, Ayushmann is seen in an action avatar. Ayushmann and Jaideep Ahlawat's antagonist, who thinks that Ayushmann's character is to blame for his brother's murder, are both in great form during a chase scene that was hinted at in the trailer. In a similar chase-focused setting, Jaideep previously portrayed a "villainous" type in Dibakar Banerjee's Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The story was written by Anirudh Iyer, who also worked on Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Zero with Shah Rukh Khan. Neeraj Yadav wrote the screenplay.

Though it has been confirmed that Ayushmann’s many films are not doing well at the box office. However, with An Action Hero and the positive response to the trailer, it appears that the film will be well received and will set records for other Bollywood blockbusters. The film is slated to hit the big screen on December 2.
Coming to the credits, the film has been produced by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Aanand L Rai, a Colour Yellow Production, and has been directed by Anirudh Iyer, produced by Aanand L Rai, and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.
